Robots

Specialists in 3 – 6 axis articulated industrial robots, from 1Kg – 500Kg payload , R.D.S. can supply a robot for any application, see Systems page.

R.D.S specialises in the supply and service of ABB robots, however the company also offers sales and support of Fanuc robots.

Product Selector

R.D.S. offers expertise on AC, DC and Servo products & systems ranging from 0.18 kW to 1 MW. Free standing, wall mounted or panel mounted, we have the capabilities.

Safety Products & Sensors

Productivity and flexibility are paramount in modern production plants. Safety technology, being an integral component of these plants must also meet this challenge. Our objective is to supply safety sensors & control devices that provide effective personnel protection in line with international safety standards while not impairing production processes. Training

R.D.S. provides an on-site training program for ABB robots and Variable Speed Drives.

Robot training , R.D.S. has a robotic training area complete with an IRB140  5Kg Robot and S4Cplus Controller and a IRB4400 IRC5 robot  
.

Training programs can be tailored to suit the client depending on the experience of the personnel attending the training.

Basic operation, basic programming, advanced programming, mechanical and electrical servicing are some of courses provided.

Variable Speed Drive & Softstart, R.D.S. has a number of training cases available, ACS550, ACS800 & PST. These cases are built specifically for class room training and demonstrations. Working off standard 220 Volts, training can be carried out in any room and away from production.
